Teen found guilty on four counts of murder receives a half-century term in an Arkansas prison
Little Rock, Arkansas – After entering a guilty plea to four distinct counts of first-degree murder, a teenager was given a sentence of fifty years to life in prison in Arkansas.
Following his guilty plea, 19-year-old Freddrick Jackson was sentenced to 50 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, Sixth Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Will Jones stated on Wednesday.
The defendant was a teenager when senseless acts of violence destroyed multiple families,” Jones said in a statement. “This reaffirms that more community resources are needed to intercept at-risk juveniles before lives are impacted.”
Jackson was fifteen years old at the time of the first murder, according to the prosecutor.
