Thanksgiving day-off for all Walmart employees, the company to close all stores

All Walmart stores will be closed for Thanksgiving this year as ‘thank you’ to employees.
The company announced on Friday that on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25 all U.S. stores locations will be closed for “continued hard work during the pandemic.”
“Throughout the pandemic, our associates have been nothing short of heroic in how they have stepped up to serve our customers and their communities,” said Dacona Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Walmart U.S. “Closing our stores on Thanksgiving Day is one way we’re saying ‘thank you’ to our teams for their dedication and hard work this year. We hope everyone will take the opportunity to be with their loved ones during what’s always a special time.”
The company said it will inform the public additionally about the working hours of their stores on Black Friday which is on November 26.
Walmart, Target and Kohls closed all their stores in 2020 for Thanksgiving that usually remain open during the whole weekend.
