The average gas price in the state has increased above $3 per gallon
Little Rock, Arkansas – Since last week, there has been a ten-cent increase in the nationwide average price of gasoline for the natural state. Because there will be more time spent driving as daylight savings time draws near, costs will go up as the temperature continues to rise.
According to the website gasprices.aaa.com, the average price of gasoline in Arkansas is the fifth lowest in the entire US.
Because the price of crude oil has increased by ten dollars in only a few short months, this may be subject to change.
“Higher crude oil prices and increased demand contributed to the Arkansas statewide average gas price surpassing the $3 per gallon mark this week for the first time since November 2023,” said AAA spokesperson Nick Chabarria.
“The current oil and gas environment, along with warmer weather and longer days, is ripe for further pump price increases as spring quickly approaches.”
