North Little Rock Laman Library hosts 54th Mid-Southern Watercolorists Exhibition
Little Rock, Arkansas – This coming Friday evening, the North Little Rock Laman Public Library will be hosting the opening of a brand new exhibition.
It was announced in a press release that the 54th Annual Juried Exhibition of the Mid-Southern Watercolorists would continue until April 26 with free access in the gallery of the library.
A reception will be conducted from six to eight o’clock in the evening, and awards will be handed out at five-thirty.
Mid-Southern Watercolorists is reportedly one of the oldest watercolor societies in the South, according to the statement about the organization.
Their goal is to promote awareness among the general public on the significance of watercolor as a medium.
Several institutions, such as the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and the Showcase Arkansas Gallery of the Central Arkansas Library System, have been among the venues that have previously played host to the show.
