Well-known Conway bakery catches fire
Conway, Arkansas – On Monday night, a well-known bakery in Conway’s downtown caught fire.
Fire officials report that at 6:17 p.m., they were initially notified of a fire at PattiCakes Bakery. By nine o’clock at night, the Front Street building’s fire had been put out.
The goal of the bakery is to “make great food that was reminiscent of a visit to grandma’s house,” and according to a post on their social media, bad weather forced them to close on Monday.
According to a fire department spokesman, the cause of the incident is still unknown.
There’s another PattiCakes store in Conway on Robinson Avenue.
