2 people injured in 2 separate shootings in Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – On Monday, separate shootings in Little Rock Monday left two people injured, police said.
According to police, the first shooting happened near 17th and Abigail around 1 p.m. A man was reportedly shot in the leg.
Police said the victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
There was no information about a suspect.
Authorities said the second shooting happened in the 2800 block of Center Street. A victim in that shooting also reportedly suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
Since Friday, a total of 12 people were shot in Little Rock. In a press conference, Assistant Chief Wayne Bewley said detectives were presently out working to find answers to all weekend shootings and it was a priority to create safety for residents of Little Rock.
