Arkansas saw an uptick in motorcycle fatalities

Jonesboro, Arkansas – In the United States, and particularly in Arkansas, the number of motorcycle fatalities is rising.
In the United States, there were 5,579 motorcycle fatalities in 2020, which is the most ever reported, according to QuoteWizard.com.
The number of fatalities has increased by 11% since 2019 and by 20% since 2010, and helmet wear has fallen from 71% to 68%.
Mississippi, Texas, and Arkansas are the states with the highest number of motorcycle fatalities.
Alcohol, weather, and helmet use are said to be the three biggest causes of motorcycle fatalities, according to a recent report.
Only in Arkansas have fatalities climbed by 21% since 2019, and there are 11 fatalities for every 10,000 motorcyclists.
