Little Rock and North Little Rock will see lane restrictions along Interstate 30
Little Rock, Arkansas – This following Monday is scheduled to mark the start of work on Interstate 30.
In the Little Rock and North Little Rock region, lanes will close from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the day and from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following night.
There will be construction barrels and other road signs throughout the work zone, and it is advised that drivers use caution.
ARDOT states that if necessary, the number of double-lane closures on Interstate highways will be restricted.
Between Broadway Street and I-40 in North Little Rock, I-30 eastbound will be restricted to a single lane. The I-30 eastbound ramps to I-40 will alternately be closed from 10 p.m. on Friday, May 10 through 5 a.m. on Monday, May 13.
Daytime closures
• I-30 frontage road southbound (single-lane closures) between 6th and 10th streets in Little Rock
• Riverfront Drive (single-lane closures) between Olive and Pine Streets in North Little Rock
• Cypress Street southbound (single-lane closure) between 5th and Broadway streets in North Little Rock
• Broadway Street (single-lane closures) between Magnolia and Pine Streets in North Little Rock
• Locust Street northbound (single-lane closure) between Broadway and 5th streets, and between Curtis Sykes Drive and 17th Street, in North Little Roc
Overnight closures
• I-30 (single and double-lane closures and traffic shifts) between Roosevelt Road in Little Rock and Interstate 40 (I-40) in North Little Rock
• I-30/I-40 lanes and ramps (single and double-lane closures) at the north terminal in North Little Rock
• I-630 off-ramp (full closure) to I-30 northbound frontage road (Exit 140) in Little Rock; detour signed
• I-30 eastbound off-ramp (Exit 140) to frontage road northbound (single-lane closures) in Little Rock
• I-30 frontage road northbound (single-lane closure) between the I-30 off-ramp (Exit 140) and 6th Street in Little Rock
• I-30 frontage road southbound on-ramp to I-30 off-ramp (Exit 140) and 6th Street in Little Rock
• Cypress Street southbound (single-lane closure) between 5th and Broadway streets in North Little Rock
• Broadway Street (single-lane closures) between Magnolia and Pine Streets in North Little Rock
• Locust Street northbound (single-lane closure) between Broadway and 5th streets, and between Curtis Sykes Drive and 17th Street, in North Little Rock
