Woman from Conway receives a heart transplant
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Conway family’s loved one’s search for a heart transplant is now over.
After giving birth in 2019, Janesha Coleman was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and throughout her subsequent pregnancy last year, her mother Algerita Coleman reported that her daughter’s condition only grew worse.
“Last year when she got pregnant and had to go into premature labor it put major stress on her heart,” Coleman said.
Coleman claimed that despite numerous medical trips, her daughter’s condition was not improving.
“They did all the lab work and the blood work and then they found out that the left side of her heart was not working,” Coleman said.
But last Friday, she claimed that physicians informed her daughter that she would be getting a heart transplant on Sunday, and that’s when everything changed.
Coleman reported that she saw her daughter following the surgery and could tell she was in a lot of pain, but the nurse claimed the girl was healing quite nicely.
Since she began sharing her story on social media, Janesha Coleman has attracted a lot of attention. Coleman hopes that her daughter’s second chance at life will allow her to hold her three children once more.
“One of her biggest things is, ‘Mama I want to live for my kids and I want to see my kids grow up,’” Coleman said.
