Mansfield toddler taken to hospital in Tulsa after suffering critical injuries in driveway accident
Little Rock, Arkansas – In Mansfield, a toddler suffered critical injuries after their mom ran over them in the driveway.
According to the Mansfield Police Department, the young youngster was run over and suffered critical injuries.
The parents were able to free the child from under the small automobile, where they had been pinned.
According to Officer Matthew Courts, the incident took place at a house near Wood Street and Mansfield.
When dispatchers instructed the parents to stop at the Mansfield Police Department, the parents were en route to the hospital.
When the parents arrived at the police station, the child was already receiving aid from the police and emergency personnel.
A LifeFlight chopper landed at Mansfield Elementary School and transported the child to a hospital in Tulsa.
Officer Courts reported that despite the terrible injuries, the infant was awake and responsive.
Although the police stated that they thought it was a terrible accident, it is routine procedure to look into cases when children are injured.
