In a human remains investigation, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance
Little Rock, Arkansas – The public is being asked to help the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office identify human remains that were discovered back in January.
A hiker in the region reported finding skeletal bones and a weapon, so on January 8, deputies were sent to the wildlife management area near the Jim Kress Wildlife area in Wilburn.
Authorities said that at the time, the hiker was out for a walk with their dog.
The sheriff’s office is currently seeking assistance in an attempt to identify the individual.
Detective Angelo Aldrighetti at (501) 362-8143 is asking anyone with knowledge about a missing male who underwent spinal surgery or had a spinal fusion plate in his neck to get in touch with him as soon as possible.
