While gains from changing employment are less, Arkansas enjoys 4.4% salary rise

Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas’s payroll figures are rising, but they are still falling short of the national average, according to recent research.

The ADP Research Institute reports that, for Nov. 2023, the state’s yearly pay change from the previous year was 4.4%, with a median wage of $46,800 for employees who have remained in their positions over the previous 12 months.

The country’s yearly pay change from year to year was 5.6% on average, which is the lowest rate of wage increase since September 2021. The change for individuals who changed jobs was 8.1%, which was the lowest increase since June 2021.
